Smoky Chipotle by Supernova Hot Sauce Review

Smoky Chipotle by Supernova Hot Sauces is a smoky and tangy thin hot sauce that pairs well with many North American staples. It is not very hot but does a good job of adding a pleasant zip to your meal.

You can find it in most big-name grocery stores across the country. If you’re looking for something cheap and easy, this might be the hot sauce for you.

The Hot Sauce Co. Peppers & Pickles Review

Peppers and Pickles from The Hot Sauce Co is great for peak summertime grilling. Every burger needs a bit of relish and for those of you who like it spicy, this is the perfect condiment for the occasion.

This hot sauce is tangy, chunky, crunchy, and even has a bit of heat to it. I’ve been enjoying this on sandwiches, sausages, hamburgers, and wraps. If you like relish but wish it was a little spicier, this is the perfect hot sauce for you.

Review: Local Talent Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce

I first heard about Local Talent Hot Sauce from a post on a Facebook Group. Something about the image from the post (below) really made me want to try their sauces. I looked them up and found out they were from Toronto so I placed an order as fast as I could.

I ordered one of each of their sauces and when the box came I immediately tried the Scotch Bonnet sauce. All I can say is wow! This hot sauce has everything I could ever ask for in a hot sauce, great flavour, and fantastic heat level. I finished almost half of the bottle on my first tasting so I had to rush this article.

Hot Sauce Review: Heartbeat + Heatonist Lions Mane Piri Piri

This hot sauce from Heartbeat Hot Sauces is a unique take on traditional Piri Piri sauces. It is smooth, creamy, extremely tasty, and just a little bit hot.

Lions Mane Piri Piri was made to celebrate the 4th anniversary of HEATONIST’s tasting room in New York. What a great way to celebrate!

Meryl’s Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce Review

Meryl’s Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce is a great take on a classic Caribbean-style sauce. It is thin and chunky, a little bit tangy, and a little bit sweet.

It is pretty mild considering it is made with Scotch Bonnet peppers but it is a tasty heat.

The only thing I did not like about this hot sauce was the amount of Apple Cider Vinegar. I find it a little too much. The ACV is the first and last thing you taste with Meryl’s.

Marie Sharp’s Original Hot Habanero Hot Sauce Review

A simple yet delicious Habanero hot sauce from Marie Sharp’s in Belize. This hot sauce is a great example of the type of hot sauce you should always keep in your fridge.

It is hot but not too hot so you don’t need to worry about stinging the tongues of your fellow diners.

In terms of flavour, this one is pretty neutral which makes it a good all-around hot sauce. You can taste the carrots which are used as a base but the flavour blends well with most meals.

The habaneros used for heat are fruity and flavourful as well as spicy.

If you can find this one at your local grocery store it is well worth a try!

Hot Sauce Review: Asian Kick by Tijuana Tom’s House Of Hot Sauce

Asian Kick by Tijuana Tom’s House of Hot Sauce is a complex and delicious hot sauce.

This hot sauce tastes fresh and vibrant. The citrus and ginger flavours really shine which gives the sauce almost a cooling sensation.

Asian Kick’s unique flavour profile is somewhat limiting. While it’s taste is nothing to scoff at, it does not pair well with many dishes you would usually pair with hot sauce.

This hot sauce would go well with many asian inspried dishes (naturally) and also most veggie based dishes. Asian Kick would be perfect for veggie spring rolls or a buddha bowl, something like that.

Pineapple And Red Habanero THC Hot Sauce Review

Well, we finally have it here in Canada, THC infused hot sauce. Since Canada legalized cannabis in 2018, we have seen a plethora of new cannabis products. I knew someone would infuse hot sauce, it was just a matter time.

Heartbeat Hot Sauce and Bogarts Kitchen have teamed up to create a legal THC hot sauce for Canada’s cannabis market. So far there are two flavours: Red Habanero and Pineapple Habanero. Both staples of the Heartbeat Hot Sauce collection.

Here is what they taste like!

Tata’s Scotch Bonnet and Smoke Papaya Hot Sauce Review

A friend of mine sent me a care package of hot sauce from Tata Hot Sauce Emporium in Toronto. The first sauce I tried was the Smoke Papaya. It sounded like it would go great with the sandwich I was having for lunch.

This hot sauce is a great blend of scotch bonnet peppers and smoked papaya. It has the delightful texture of apple sauce but with a spicy kick. Great for meats and leaves.

Smoke Papaya by Tata is so good you can eat it right out of the bottle.

Made In Texas: Yellowbird Habanero Hot Sauce Review

Straight from Texas is Yellowbird Habanero Condiment, a super tasty, straight-to-the-point hot sauce. If you’re into a spicy sauce with a simple flavour, this one is for you.

This hot sauce truly is a condiment and the squeeze bottle helps slather it on everything. I was enjoying this habanero sauce on sausages, pizza, fries (especially awesome), and even salads and veggies.

Inside the bottle you’ll find a sweet and savoury sauce with real habanero heat.
